Tom Breur helpt als onafhankelijk consultant bedrijven meer geld te verdienen met hun data. Oorspronkelijk begonnen als dataminer, houdt hij zich in zijn huidige praktijk vooral bezig met strategie, datawarehousing, organisatie-alignment, en training en coaching van BI-professionals. Als spreker en docent heeft hij een reputatie opgebouwd met zijn kritische en controversiële kijk op het vakgebied.

Bart Baesens
Professor Bart Baesens is an associate professor at K.U.Leuven (Belgium) and a lecturer at the University of Southampton (United Kingdom).  He has done extensive research on predictive analytics, data mining, customer relationship management, web analytics, fraud detection, and credit risk management.  His findings have been published in well-known international journals (e.g. Machine Learning, Management Science, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, Journal of Machine Learning Research, …) and presented at international top conferences.  He is also co-author of the book Credit Risk Management: Basic Concepts, published in 2008.  He regularly tutors, advises and provides consulting support to international firms with respect to their data mining, predictive analytics, and credit risk management policy.

Paul van der Linden
Paul van der Linden beschikt over meer dan 20 jaar ervaring in Business Intelligence en Analytics. Hij heeft meer dan 200 artikelen geschreven in meer dan 10 verschillende tijdschriften waaronder Database Magazine, Business Process Magazine en Tijdschrift voor IT Management.  Paul onderhoudt een blog op BI Platform en is BI Expert voor Computable. Hij is de initiatiefnemer van het Nationaal Datawarehouse Onderzoek 2005 en de oorspronkelijke bedenker van de BI Matrix. De afgelopen vier jaar was hij werkzaam voor IBM’s Business Analytics and Optimization Service Line. Sinds mei 2011 geeft hij leiding aan Analytics bij Accenture.

Jonathan Burez
Jonathan is a Marketing Intelligence Business Analysts at ING Belgium, an analytical expert focusing on analysing customer behaviour. Jonathan joined ING Belgium in 2007 as a Customer Intelligence Analyst. ING Belgium is Belgium's fourth largest Retail bank with a clear focus on servicing their customers via direct channels. They have a customer base of 2.2 Mio private individuals and a market share of 13%.
Jonathan previously obtained a Masters in Applied Economics and a Masters in Marketing Analysis, and a PhD in Applied Economics, both at Ghent University – Belgium. His thesis is entitled " Defining, predicting and preventing customer churn in contractual settings ". He has published different scientific studies in peer-reviewed A1 journals, and has presented his work on a number of international academic conferences.

Geert Verstraeten
Dr. Geert Verstraeten is Partner at Python Predictions, a Belgian niche player with expertise in the domain of customer intelligence. He currently has 10 years of "hands-on experience" in different industries such as retail, mail-order, telecom, banking, utilities and subscription services. More specifically, his interests lie in delivering highly performing yet interpretable predictions of future individual customer behaviour.
In 2005, Geert obtained a PhD in Applied Economics at Ghent University, Belgium. His thesis is entitled "Issues in Predictive Modeling of Individual Customer Behavior: Applications in Targeted Marketing and Consumer Credit Scoring". He has published different scientific studies in peer-reviewed journal, and has presented on a number of business and academic conferences.
Python Predictions was founded in April 2006, and currently active in Retail & Distribution, Telco, Financial Services, Utilities and Postal Services in the Belgian market.
